I’ve been using this for various consoles up through GameCube on my M1 Air for months now. OpenEmu () is a great place to start and gives you a central place for a vast majority of consoles. The other suggestions are great for SNES, but you could also go for the gusto and grab OpenEmu for all your Mac emulation needs. I’m looking for an emulator they works on Mac. In macOS Big Sur, you'll have to right click 'Open' the application and then select 'Open' to run it the first time in order to whitelist it as it isn't signed.
